Eligibility conditions for regular posts:-
1. Joint Director (Programme Division)/Regional Director
Essential:
i)                    Masters Degree in respective discipline i.e. Home Science, Human Resource Development, Psychology, Education, Sociology, Social Work, Women’s Studies, Child Development, Anthropology,  Operational Research (including Statistics)  and preventive  and social medicine  as per requirements of the Institute.

ii)                  Doctoral degree in the relevant subject.

iii)                15 years experience in training/teaching at degree level and research or advocacy of which 5 years should be at a senior supervisory level.


2.         Deputy Director (Programme Division)

            :
Essential:
i)                    Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline i.e. Home Science with specialization in Community Resource Management or Foods and Nutrition or Child Development/Psychology/Education/SocialWork/Sociology/Anthropology/Management/Public Administration/Statistics depending upon the field relevant to the post. M.B.B.S. or equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India for appointment to the Post of Deputy Director (Health).

ii)                  Five years experience in teaching/research/project formulation/ monitoring and supervision in the fields of Child Development/Mother Care/Social Welfare/Maternal and Child Health/Designing and Production of Audio-Visual Material for teaching and extension, relevant to the post.

Desirable:

Doctoral Degree in the relevant discipline or holder of any one of the following diplomas:

i)        D.C.H.
ii)   D.P.H. or M.P.H.
i)       D. G.O.
For the post of Deputy Director (Health).




3.         Research Assistant    
Essential:
(i)                 At least second class Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
(ii)               Two years experience of Investigation/Tabulation/analysis of data etc.

4.         Junior Hindi Translator


1.      Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as main subjects, which includes the term compulsory/elective subjects.\
2.      Diploma/ Certificate in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University/ Institution.
3.      A speed of 25 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting.
4.      Knowledge of MS Office and similar computer application.




Desirable:
Experience of translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government offices including autonomous organizations.


5.         Stenographer Grade-III
Essential:

i)    Graduate from a recognized University.
ii)   A speed of 80 w.p.m. in Stenography in English or Hindi
iii)  Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi
iii)                Knowledge of working on computer using MS Office.


General Instructions:-

1.                  Applications for the post to be filled up on direct recruitment should be sent along with the required testimonials and an application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of  a Demand  Draft in favour of the “National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development” payable at New Delhi. SC/ST/Physically Candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

2.                  Maximum age limit will be reckoned on last date for receipt of application. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and others as per Govt. of India rules.

3.                  The candidates serving in Government /autonomous bodies/statutory bodies or public undertaking should forward their applications through proper channel failing which the application is likely to be rejected.

4.                  Application for the posts to be filled up on transfer on deputation basis should be sent alongwith the complete ACR dossiers for the preceding 5 years in a sealed cover. The authority forwarding the applications should also certify that no vigilance/ disciplinary case is pending/contemplated against the officers whose applications are being forwarded.

5.                  Selection will be based on written test / computer skill test followed by an interview for each post. In case of receipt of large number of applications for a post, the Institute may invite only those candidates for written test/interview who possesses higher qualifications and experience.

6.                  Separate applications may be submitted by the applicants for applying to different posts. The envelope may be superscripted “Application for the post of                    ______________________ ”.

7.                  The candidate must apply in the following prescribed format alongwith a recent passport size photograph with self attested photocopy of certificates/testimonials/experience certificates and caste certificate, if any.

8.                  The number of each post may increase or decrease at the time of selection. The Institute may/may not fill up the anticipated vacancies keeping in view the availability of the vacancy position.

9.                  On selection, the selected candidates may be posted either at Institute’s Headquarter at New Delhi or any of its Regional Centres located in Guwahati, Bangalore, Lucknow and Indore. All these posts carry all India transfer liability.
